UL Approved Bulb and Capillary Thermostat 30Amp Capacity to Meet a Variety of Applications
The new 30Amp high current capacity bulb and capillary thermostat has been designed for large electric appliances and heating controls for both commercial and residential applications, pools, spas, heaters, fans and ventilators. For over 20 years, Selco has been and continues to be the leading supplier for bulb and capillary thermostats. In addition, Selco is a leading manufacturer of thermal components serving the ever changing industries such as commercial food equipment, HVAC, medical and test systems.
The bulb responds to temperature coupled via a capillary tube to a diastat within the thermostat housing. The diastat responds to expansion and contraction of the fluid within the temperature sensing bulb.
These new 30Amp remote sensing thermostats can be used for a variety of liquid and air sensing applications. Specifications for these are snap action, single pole, and single throw (SPST) type thermostats with UL, c-UL and ENEC approval ratings. The HC Series, auto-reset, temperature range of -40°F to 752°F (-40°C to 400°C) and the HCRM Series, manual reset, temperature range of 104°F to 752°F (40°C to 400°C). Technical specifications include 120/250VAC, 30Amps, resistive, inductive ratings, and 100,000 cycles. They can also be safely used at 400VAC, 18Amps.
OEM Customers can also select from a wide range of knobs and bezels in a variety of configurations, sizes and colors. All are available with a variety of mounting hardware for optimum installation flexibility and easy drop-in placement. Other options include heavy duty screw terminals or quick connects and anywhere from 2 to 20-foot capillary lengths in copper or stainless steel.
This new bulb and capillary thermostat is competitively priced on multiple volume levels for OEM customers. Many models are available from stock however we offer custom models to meet the customer’s specifications.
