Selco Products Introduces New Custom Thin Film Platinum RTD and Thermocouple Assemblies

Selco Products has added the Custom Thin Film Platinum Probe Assembly RTD (RP) Series and Custom Thermocouple Probe Assembly (S) Series to its extensive line of temperature control products. They are the perfect complement to Selco’s CP Series Custom NTC thermistor probe assemblies.

The RP series was developed to provide thin film Platinum RTDs that are custom packaged to meet our customer’s application requirements. Selco can provide these RTD sensors in 100 Ohm, 500 Ohm, and 1,000 Ohm resistances at 0.0°C.  Accuracy classes include IEC60751 F0.1, F0.15 (class A), F0.3 (class B), and others upon request. TCRs include 3850 ppm/K, 3750 ppm/K, and others upon request.  Our RTD assemblies have an operating temperature range of -96°C to 415°C.

The S series custom thermocouple probes can be provided with type J or type K thermocouples. Wire gauges range from #18 AWG to #30 AWG.  Selco can provide thermocouples with high temperature potting material or mineral filled probe assemblies. We can supply exposed, grounded, ungrounded, and ungrounded dual isolated junctions.  Selco’s thermocouple probe operating temperature ranges run from -96°C to 415°C.

Within both product series, Selco’s engineers can select the right probe housing, lead wire, and connector options to meet each customer’s application.

These devices can be packaged as custom probe assemblies to meet individual application requirements and are suitable for use across a broad range of applications including food equipment, outdoor equipment, home appliances, power supplies, HVAC, medical, motors, and aviation/aerospace.
